An audio-visual is a sequence of images supported by and interacting with sounds, voice or music. Among a wide variety of types, some examples include a travel documentary, a description of an event, a presentation of a point of view, or a creation of a mood or feeling.

Wal Close is the convenor of the Camberwell Camera Club’s AV Group. He will explain what an audiovisual is and show examples of the different types of production using work by international producers and also some of his work. There would probably be time to demonstrate at least one of the frequently used techniques. To whet your appetite, check out one of Wal’s wonderful YouTube videos entitled Umbrella Land.
