Heather says:

I was given a Kodak Brownie camera when I was 8 years old and haven’t stopped taking photos since. I am so fortunate to have grown up in a family of photographers who valued photography. With a series of cameras over the following years, I have amassed a wonderful pictorial documentary of my own and my family’s life. It was digital cameras and my obsession with Photoshop that really catapulted me into the realm of ’serious’ photography where I am today.

Although I enjoy most genres of photography it is the creative side that I love the most. I’m a member of Geelong Camera Club and have been President on and off for 8 years. I love the camaraderie of being part of a camera club and the social interaction and sharing of ideas they bring. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and talking about my creative work. Hopefully, I will encourage some of you to have a go!
