Guest Presenter: Murray Richards

National Geographic photographer and Nikon mentor, Murray Richards, returns for another one of his highly informative presentations. During this workshop, Murray will discuss the following:

• Keys to successful fashion & beauty (or portrait) photography

• The lighting equipment progression

• Choosing the right modifier and the inverse square law of lighting - boring so I’ll go over it quickly...

• Examples

• Behind the scenes of a fashion shoot (with finished images)

Murray says:

With lots of examples and explaining things like how I plan a shoot, talk about how I shot the examples (I've picked most examples where there is mostly only 1 light so anyone could do it !) and finish off with a sample shoot with some behind the scenes images where I will show the different lighting you can achieve with different equipment - from natural light through to multiple lights so people can see the difference between different lighting scenarios with the same subject.
