Julie says:

My presentation to Yarra Ranges Photographic Society, “Unleash your Creativity by Understanding Photography Fundamentals” is aimed at all levels of photographers with a taste of the potential of creative in-camera photography. These photographic techniques are limitless, with each image unique, which constantly excites me.

My joy of photography and art has given me the gifts of seeing the world at its best and sharing the joy with like-minded people for over 25 years.

During this time, I have been the Director of three successful photography businesses, received numerous awards, participated in solo and joint exhibitions and had my work published in magazine articles and on numerous magazine covers. There is nothing I love more than teaching others photography and watching their skills and passion develop.

My photographic journey has involved years of studying and developing my artistic skills, learning to paint in various genres, selling my art and photography through galleys for many years in SE Qld. I have integrated my artistic talents by using my camera like a paintbrush, which has often challenged the conventional photography genres. My goal is always to encourage and inspire photographers to step outside the norm and develop their own creative styles and become photographic artists.

With this aim in mind, I created my Australian-based photography global photography tours, (iPhotographMagic), all at affordable prices to offer unique locations with outstanding photographic opportunities. During CV I have been selectively choosing locations in Australia, but I can’t wait to be back in Africa, Cuba and Sri Lanka. One day my favourite location in Rajasthan.
