Theme: Open Black and White

An Open theme with a difference. There are no colour or coloured monochrome images this month, only black and white. You can submit up to four images (in digital or print). Like previous Open themes, this month’s subject is treated pictorially, embodying the elements of good design, arrangement or composition, reflecting the photographer's personal interpretation.

An image is considered black and white only if it contains no colour (i.e. it contains only shades of grey, which can include pure black and pure white). A greyscale image that has been toned in one colour other than black and white, or a multi-coloured image modified or giving the impression of having been modified by partial toning, multi-toning or the inclusion of spot colouring does not meet the definition of black and white for this month’s theme.
